    Powder Mountain Ski Resort offers the most skiable acres in North America and a guide makes it easier to explore each untouched groomed trail or powder stash. There are also back-country and side country options available via helicopter.

    Baileys Sleigh Rides Bailey’s Sleigh Rides

    Go on a storybook horse-drawn sleigh ride a the Bailey family ranch in the nearby mountain town of Liberty. You’ll pass by a herd of elk that live on the property and warm up with a cup of hot cocoa in the barn.

    Club Rec is the go-to spot for snowmobile rentals in the Powder Mountain area. They have offices in both in Eden and nearby Huntsville and have easy access to some of the best-groomed trails, mountain meadows and hill climbs in the world. They also offer both snowmobile and snowshoe/cross country ski guided tours.

    Huntsville Ice Rink Huntsville Ice Rink

    The Huntsville Ice Rink is a beautiful outdoor facility for hockey, recreational skating and figure skating that’s free and open to the public in Huntsville Town Park. The rink is well maintained by a Zamboni and skate rentals are available Monday to Saturday.

    The Front Climbing Club is Ogden’s premier spot to climb, train and recreate year-round. It features 10,000 square feet of climbing walls and a full range of fitness equipment. In addition, there’s a fully stocked gym, a broad range of yoga classes, group fitness classes, climbing instruction, youth programming and a huge selection of climbing gear.

    nordic skiing Nordic Center

    The Nordic Center at North Fork Park is a premier cross country skiing destination in northern Utah. There is 20 km of trails well-designed trails which are groomed six times per week by a dedicated team of Nordic volunteers.

    Ogden MustangsOgden Mustangs

    The Ogden Mustangs are a championship-caliber junior hockey team based in Ogden. They play at the Weber County Sports Complex, which was originally built as the 2002 Olympic Curling event. Tickets to their games are $10.00 or less.

    Eccles CenterEccles Art Center

    Located in the historic David Eccles mansion, the Eccles Community Art Center provides changing exhibits of art by regional and local artists every month. A permanent collection of works is also found throughout the historic home.

    Skywalker Balloon

    This is a one-hour sunrise balloon adventure in beautiful Ogden Valley. It features amazing views of Strawberry Reservoir, Powder Mountain and the rural landscape this valley is so famous for.

    Salomon Center

    The Salomon Center is an award-winning indoor action sports hub and family fun zone in Ogden, Utah. The state of the art facility features a Flowrider surfing wave, bowling alley, arcade, mini-golf, bumper cars, laser tag, climbing wall and even a wind tunnel that simulates skydiving.

    Hours: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 am. Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 am. Sunday 11:00 am to 12:00 am.

    Christmas Village illuminates Ogden’s downtown area with magnificent displays and holiday lights every year from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until January 1. It’s a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights and a unique setting of cottages modeled after Santa’s village.
